I hate the word “guru” but unfortunately, it fits me when it comes to social media and what I can do.
I love the social media world, having been immersed in it since its start in 2007 when Twitter started to become a “thing.” I saw the potential for it immediately and began implementing it for the newspaper I worked for. Over the next 16 years, I crafted my job into the Audience Development Manager.
In my spare time, I’m on Twitter, keeping up with friends and colleagues, and anything else in my curated feed. I like to try out new and upcoming platforms like Mastodon to try and gauge their potential.
I have one daughter and two cats – all of whom have their own socials 🙂
