I hate the word “guru” but unfortunately, it fits me when it comes to social media and what I can do.

I love the social media world, having been immersed in it since its start in 2007 when Twitter started to become a “thing.” I saw the potential for it immediately and began implementing it for the newspaper I worked for. Over the next 16 years, I crafted my job from Digital Media Producer to the Audience Development Manager.

In my spare time, I’m on X, Facebook, Instagram and Threads, keeping up with friends and colleagues, and anything else in my curated feed. I like to try out new and upcoming platforms like Bluesky and Threads to try and gauge their potential.

I have one daughter and two cats – all of whom have their own socials 🙂
